The limitation with these pumps is higher specific power consumption, ability to generate high quality consistent vacuum and process contamination of the sealing fluid generating unwanted effluent.
  • Oil Ring Vacuum Pump:The Oil ring Vacuum pump is very similar to a Water Ring Vacuum pump with the main differentiation being in the sealing fluid, here it is Oil instead of Water there. This pump has better performance in terms of ultimate vacuum as compared to a water ring vacuum pump but has the same limitations of inconsistency in ultimate vacuum and process contamination of Oil with process vapours. This is a good choice for clean and dry air pumping.
  • Dry Screw Vacuum Pump:The Dry screw vacuum pump is a 100% dry pump with no seafluid present in the working hamber of the pump. This pump has amongst the best specific ling power consumptions in the segment and capability to generate high quality consistent vacuum as per the process requirement, the other advantage that this pump offers is 100% dry pumping which leads to 100% process vapour/solvent recovery at the pump discharge at atmospheric pressure which otherwise would have not been possible.
  • Roots Vacuum Pumps:Roots Vacuum pumps also know as mechanical vacuum booster pumps are pumps that can be installed on Top of any of the above backup vacuum pumps. These are 100% Dry Vacuum pumps and are popular because of their characteristic of the Bell shaped pumping speed curve that they form. To meet the high flow requirement booster pumps can be used in conjunction with other backup pumps. These pumps guarantee amongst the lowest specific power consumption and can increase pumping speeds and ultimate vacuum to the order of 10 on an average. Multiple Booster pumps can be used in series in the right staging ratio’s.
