Steel production begins in blast furnaces and electric arc furnaces, where controlled combustion is critical. Centrifugal blowers supply high-pressure air to maintain optimal fuel burning and temperature control.

Blowers are used to pneumatically transport iron ore, coke, and fluxes from storage to processing units. Twin and tri lobe blowers ensure consistent flow and pressure for efficient material movement.

After casting and rolling, steel products require rapid cooling. Blowers deliver high-volume air for cooling slabs, billets, and coils. They also assist in drying surfaces before coating or packaging.

Steel plants generate significant dust and fumes. Vacuum systems are used to extract airborne particles from furnaces, conveyors, and cutting stations, improving air quality and worker safety.

Vacuum boosters support degassing operations in molten steel refining, helping remove dissolved gases and impurities. This improves steel quality and reduces defects.
